Is this information about Gulfstream Park current?

Rules were last reviewed on October 4, 2026. Casinos change rules table by table and over time, so the felt and the table placard are always the final word. If you spot a change, dated reports are the most useful correction you can send.

Which strategy chart should I use at Gulfstream Park?

Use the dealer-hits-soft-17, no-surrender chart. Set the trainer's rule switches to match and drill until the plays are automatic.

How do I find a 3:2 table?

Read the payout line printed on the felt before you sit down. If it says blackjack pays 6 to 5, keep walking: that one rule adds about 1.4% to the house edge, more than every strategy decision combined.

Can I count cards at Gulfstream Park?

Card counting is legal everywhere in the US, but casinos are private businesses and can ask counters to leave or bar them from blackjack. Learn perfect basic strategy first: every strategy mistake costs more than the count earns.

The short version

Electronic blackjack only, but the casino advertises standard 3:2 payouts at $5–$100 limits across 300+ seats. Verify on the terminal’s help screen before playing.

Skip 6:5 tables

A 6:5 blackjack payout adds about 1.4% to the house edge. That’s more than double the edge of the whole game with perfect strategy. Read the felt first.

Florida law reserves banked live-dealer blackjack for Seminole tribal casinos. Terminal offerings change without notice; the help screen on each machine is the final word.

Which strategy chart to use here

Use the dealer-hits-soft-17, no-surrender chart. Basic strategy still applies on the terminals. This is the default chart; check the terminal’s help screen for the actual rules:

Hard 11 vs A: double (hit if you can’t). Why
Soft 18 (A,7) vs 2: double (stand if you can’t). Why
Soft 19 (A,8) vs 6: double (stand if you can’t). Why
Hard 16 vs 10: hit. Why
Hard 15 vs 10: hit. Why
Pair of 8s vs A: split. Why

Terminals vary. Match the chart to whatever the help screen says.

Before you sit down

Open the terminal’s help or pays screen and confirm the 3:2 payout before playing.
Set a loss limit before you start. Terminals play fast, often 200+ hands an hour.
Card counting does not work on electronic terminals.

Other games on the floor

Electronic craps and roulette run alongside blackjack on both floors.
