About
Why this site exists
Most blackjack players lose more than they have to. Not because the game is unbeatable, but because nobody taught them the two things that matter.
The two things
First: basic strategy. The mathematically correct play exists for every hand, and most players guess instead. Guessing costs several times the house edge that perfect play faces.
Second: the payout. A table that pays 6:5 on blackjack instead of 3:2 quietly adds about 1.4% to the house edge. That single rule matters more than every strategy decision combined, and casinos print it in small letters on the felt.
What we built
A trainer that deals real hands, tells you the right play and why, and re-deals the ones you miss until you stop missing them. Strategy charts for every common rule set, with the exact expected value behind each play. Casino guides that say what the tables actually play like, with sources and dates instead of marketing copy.
Beyond the trainer, the site is a small library: a complete guide to counting cards, the Illustrious 18, a bankroll calculator, computed blackjack odds, and printable strategy cards for every rule set. Everything is free, and everything links back to the trainer so you can practice what you just read.
How the site is built
The strategy charts are standard multi-deck basic strategy, and the expected values on the hand pages are computed in-house, not copied from another site. The full method, including the two marginal cells where the model differs from the published chart, is on the methodology page.
The casino guides are researched from official casino pages and dated player reports. Every rule carries its source, and where the information is unknown or disputed, the page says so instead of guessing. Rules change table by table, so the felt always wins.
What this is not
This is a practice tool. No real money, no wagers, no prizes. Basic strategy lowers your cost of play; it does not make blackjack profitable. Only card counting or promotions can do that, and both come with their own costs. If gambling stops being fun, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER. Free and confidential, 24/7.
